ZBL had another busy month –

– he started learning to sign “more” the week of May 7-14

– he started throwing a ball to someone on 5/15

– if one of us would catch him eating “floor food” (cheerios or something else that had fallen off his high chair while he was eating), he would quickly crawl away from us as fast as he could :-)

– he started to clap on 5/14

– another cute mannerism is that if he’s sucking his 2 fingers (index and middle), he will often wave the thumb and 4th finger or pinky when someone says goodbye to him.

– he can say the word for “hello” in Mandarin when he picks up his toy phone

– Understands & will do hand motions to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in English & Mandarin – when either our babysitter or one of us will start singing, he puts his hand sin the air above his head and starts waving them around.
