We had planned on celebrating the Sunday after we returned from Disneyland but John and SPL got sick, and Z had a bunch of nasal congestion so we decided to postpone until June 29.

The theme was trash/recycle (of course!) and we decorated with banners of recycled boxes and other materials we’d collected over the last 2 months or so (thanks Beth for the help!) 

We were joined by our friends the Singhals, the O'Donohue-Goldbergs, the Nashes, The Whites, Diego Rodriguez (his family was in MD and he came anyways :), and Beth, Scott and the trio just back from a few weeks in TX.

We had fun decorating cookies, sorting recycle and trash, and tossing bean bags, as well as reading favorite stories about trash trucks and recycle :).

ZBL’s favorite part, besides the trash sorting, was eating the cupcakes :).
